Does Musk get all his money back with a dollar or two a month fee?

We'll see how long his "freedom of speech" thing lasts when he starts getting sued left and right and his employees start using his platform to talk shit about him.

We'll see how 'free' the speech is when it's child porn or results in deaths. Welcome to the unfun world of content policing Elon.

The great thing about Elon is that he doesn’t give a fuck.  Will be interesting what he ends up doing with Twatter.  Something has to change with social media that is for sure.

Freedom loving people should love the change, at least love what Elon says he’s going to do.  Time will tell obviously.  But the era of the Biden administration working closely with privately owned social media companies to define “misinformation” (basically whatever disagrees with their agenda) needs to end to protect the 1st amendment.

Honestly, the best thing Musk could do for the world at large is to close Twitter down. It's a terrible, reactionary format that encourages misinformation, speculation and other issues.

Twitter deal on hold. Musk wants Twitter to assess its security status, particularly regarding bots and fake accounts.

Between the lines: he's having trouble getting backers to put money behind the deal.

Musk is now threatening to back out of the Twitter deal, basically throwing a tantrum. He claims Twitter isn't giving him the security data he wants; Twitter says otherwise. Some think Musk has buyer's remorse and wants to re-work the deal to a lower price, which once again raises questions about his financing.

There's so many red flags all over this, I wouldn't put my money in it for anything. Hopefully Twitter's board and stockholders realize that if this is how Musk acts before he has even bought the company, just imagine what it'll be like with him in charge. Nightmare city. IMHO Twitter needs to ignore the raw dollar signs and dump the deal for their own good.

Not yet, but honestly, Twitter investors are pretty much the only people who don't want him to.
