A Monday night game in Mexico City, so a road game for both teams with a big spotlight.

The Cards are struggling at 4-6. Their offense is hurting; Zach Ertz is gone for the year and they're running on a third string QB I can't even name, as Kyler Murray and Colt McCoy are both day to day with leg injuries. One bright spot for them is the possibility of having Hollywood Brown back...

All in all, it looks like a winnable game for us. We just have to go out and do it.

AZ is designated as the home team which is good because our other game with them will be in SF. They've always been a tough out and Colt McCoy kicked our ass last year, so hopefully the team doesn't let that happen again if he plays.

Also, forgot to mention: this is an important divisional game. We need this win to stay in the race with the Seahawks.

According to TPS, the crowd in Mexico City is expected to be mostly red and gold, and we are 8 point favorites.

This is the best game this team has played in a long time.  All areas of the team are an A tonight.  The o line has really come together.  Kyle’s game plan and playcalling has been perfect tonight

Jimmy is playing with a confidence that he hasn’t had in years.  He is stepping into throws, going through progressions, etc.  Love it!

Jimmy goes as Kyle goes.  When Kyle’s game plan and playcalling is good, Jimmy and the entire offense plays well.  The Super Bowl and other meltdowns have been as much about Kyle as Jimmy.  But damn Kyle has been tremendous these last few weeks!

I loved how even on a 3rd and 16, Jimmy stepped up and threw a dart beyond the sticks to Aiyuk last night.  Aiyuk slipped on the grass and the defender had a chance to pick it off, but if Aiyuk didn’t slip it would have been a 1st down.  When Kyle is hesitant he’d never make that call to go for it in that situation.  He’d call a screen pass or something else.  I love the aggressive play.  And the easy, underneath stuff was wide open all night because of this.  He even called a bootleg to Kittle.  Where have we seen that recently?  Those are easy 10 yards a pop, and with Kittle’s ability he took it to the house.

Do they give Jimmy a new contract if he keeps this up?  😂

I’m giddy guys.  I couldn’t be happier with this team right now.  They’re healthy and it’s all coming together!

Since CMC got here Jimmy seems to be improvising more. When his first choice or even later options aren't there he's been able to bide time and find someone off schedule. He never seemed to do this previously. Maybe the OL is giving him more time to do it or maybe he's just getting better at it. Or maybe both.

As for giving him a new contract, time will tell. He can do whatever he wants and a team like the Jets would probably throw a lot of dough at him. Would he even want to return after the team wanted to move on from him? Will he keep playing this good or will bad Jimmy return and cost them a game that ends their season? Will Brady or Rodgers be available? Would another team want Lance? Again, only time will tell to see how all this plays out.

I was expecting us to win, but not to blow them out. Best game Jimmy has ever played, possibly.
