The two basic questions are: what kind of deal can the Jets offer the Packers, and will Aaron go along with it?

Sounds like the Packers are done with him.

Insiders saying the deal is as good as done, and the Jets are already celebrating.

Deal's still not done and Aaron is already trying to dictate to the Jets. What the fuck, dude?

Now that Rodgers has said he wants to play for the Jets, if I’m the Packers I’m asking for at least one first round pick.  Can you imagine the jets botching this?  The packers have all of the leverage.

Yes, they do, and Aaron may end up regretting it if he keeps trying to play his own kingmaker.

Jets and Packers not seeing eye to eye yet. From the way everyone was talking last week, you'd have thought it was a done deal.

Don't think the Packers have all the leverage, they will have to pay Rodgers $60 million if the trade doesn't happen and the Jets can make other plans. Still, you know it's gonna happen, just not for a while.

Yeah but the Jets have sucked so bad for so long and with the New York media it could get really ugly.  Woody Johnson is already seen a Dan Snyder type around there with his incompetence.  But yes the Jets shouldn’t overpay.  They’re going to have to pay Rodgers a ton and Rodgers is year to year at this point.  Maybe a 2nd round pick will do it.
